Nightly Business Chapter 2 Echo's in The Dark

In the town of Waterford Connecticut the snow is falling down, the temputure a cold Nineteen degress see a black ford pick-up with tinted windows pulling into the parking lot of a Restarunt, we hear truck is put in park, the engine is shut off, we see the drivers side door open, we see a pair of black boots that just come below the knees staanding just outside the truck, this person shuts the drivers side door and looks up at the restaurant to see it says Filomena's which is located 262 Boston Post Rd. Meanwhile inside the restaurant we a long dark brown wooden panel floor we see several people sitting at circle wooden table's that all have a white table cloth on them sitting at one of these tables is a man who looks to be in his lats forties, he has wavy dark hair and brown eyes, he is wearing tan brown Khaki pants black dress shoes, the man is also wearing a white button up long sleeve t-shirt, with a Light brown overcoat, this man is Pancho Rivera, Pancho is has Brown colored skin and is speaks many languages such as Spanish, Mexican, French and English, Pancho who is sitting near the entrance of the restaurant watch has a young white male approaches hime, the young man is well dresses, wearing black dress pants, a white button up t-shirt and a black vest, the young man's face is clean shaving unlike Pancho who has a full beard, the young man has a name tag on his the upper left part of his vest it read Jeff, Jeff is carring a glass of wine in his right hand, he brings the glass of wine which is filled jused past half way, now at Pancho's table he sets the glass of wine down in front of him. Jeff Carter: Your glass of Zinfandel sir. Pancho Rivera: Thank you. Pancho reaches for the glass of wine with his right hand, he swirls the glass and then then once the wine settles again, he begins bringing up toward his mouth just tthen the door to Filomena's comes open, Pancho looks up with his he's he slowly moves his glass of wine away from his mout which is hanging open, he sees a woma with black boots on, he sees her long tan legs, which bring his eyes to a Red Mesh longsleeve Mini dress on her haed is black wooll hat on, the woman waits by the sign that reads please wiat to be seated, Jeff who begins to walk over to to the young woman who just entered the restaurant, Pancho calls Jeff back over, so Jeff walks back toward Pancho. Jeff Carter: What is it? Pancho Rivera: Pleas e inform the woman that I'd like her to join me and that I;'ll even pay for her food and drink. Jeff Carter: Ok. So Jeff turns back around and walks over toward the young woman with red hair, Pancho can't remove he's gaze from her beauty and mostly her eyes those Emerald Green eyes, Jeff informs the woman of the Pancho's offering, The woman looks over toward him, she flashes him a smile and knods yes in agreement as she begins walking over Pancho gets up from his seat and pullsout one of the dark wooden chairs, the woman thanks him and then sits down scooting in her own chair. Pancho Rivera: Thank you for Joining me miss? Whisper Winslet: Whisper Winslet, but you can call me Whisper, and what's your name? as Whisper removes her black wool hat sets it on the table infront of her. Pancho Rivera: Pancho Rivera is my name. Pancho says with a smile. Whisper Winslet: So Mexican uh, are you from Mexico or were you born in the states? Pancho Rivera: My mom and dad were born in Mexico but came over the border legally and got jobs applyed for U.S citizenship about Nighteen eighty one, I was born a year later in Texas, How about you Whisper? Whisper smiles, Whisper Winslet: I'm afriad I don't know much about my parents, I grew up in Scottland near the shores of Loch Ness, though I'm not actually Scottish. Pancho Rivera: You were adopted. Pancho not asking but inferring. Whisper Smiles at him. Whisper Winslet: That's correct, Whisper WInslet: You know I've never opened myself up this way, to a complete stranger. Pancho Rivera reaches into his right pants pocket and pulls out his wallet which is a British Green color, the man opens his wallet in front of Whisper he pulls out a small tan color business card, with blacke lettering on the card he then hands it to Whisper, Whisper takes doesn't take the card instead she just reads it. Whisper Winslet: Pancho Rivera Private Investigator. Pancho puts his Business card back into his wallet, he then closes it and places his wallet back into his right pants pocket. Just then Jeff Carter who is standing at the talbe Pancho and Whisper are sitting at speaks. Jeff Carter: Miss is there anything I can get you? Whisper Winslet: yes I'd like a glass of Leroy Musigny Grand Cru Please. Jeff Carter: Yes Mam. Jeff tunrs and walks away from the table, Pancho who has a glass of wine whiich was only seventy five dollars, he knew the wine Whisper had justed ordered was Seven hundred and fifty dollars a glass, he knew it was money he didn't have. Pancho feeling bad for he did promise he's pay for her meal or drink. Meanwhile we see a older man with a goatee the man is standing behind a glass counter, inside the glass counter are guns, most of them are handguns, on the white wall behind the man are rifle's. the man is wearing glasses he has short dark hair he is wearing a boston redsox baseball cap, the man begins to speak. Felix Hunter: Son Have you ever fired a gun? Felix speaking to the young man in his gun shop. the young man has blonde hair hiss skin is white, he is wearing a longseleeve New York Knicks t-shirt, thaty is a bright blue color, the young man is wearing baggy blue jeans and a pair of brown steel toe boots, the young man is Dennis Dickson a sixteen year old teenager, Dennis Dickerson: I need a gun. Felix Hunter: You look like you need a friend. Deniis Dickerson: Lokk old man Don't fuck with me. Felix walks toward the young man he reaches into his boston redsox windbreaker coat right pocket and pulls out a small handgun with an orange cap on it. Felix Hunter here you go a gun on the houdse. Dennis puts the gun into his green coat pocket. he then turns and walks toward the door, just then the glas door comes open we see Whisper winslet entering the gun shop the young man passes Whisper and wa;ls out of the ghun sho[ he begins walking down Bison Street and the snowe begins to fall harder. Meanwhile back in the gun shop Whisper locks eyes with Felox Felix and Whisper smile. Felix extends his left hand knowing Whisper is left handed the two shake hands. Felix Hunter: Well what brings you to Connecticut other then the food and wine. Whisper and felix stop shakeing hands they let go of one another, Whisper Winslet: Tell me what you know about Kayla McAdams Kidnapping? The smile on Felix face disappears he turns away from Whisper and walks back toward the gun counter, he walks behind the counter and then stops he folds his arms, Felix Hunter: Stay out of this one. Whisper Winslet: Why. Felix Hunter: I've always told you there are two things I hate most 1. is rumors and 2 is a lack of facts to support them, the only fact people seem to agree on is the girl was kidnapped, why not let it at that and let it alone! Whisper Winslet: A girl is taking against her will something tells this is more about custiody then anything, so i want to steaal the girl back and give her back to her mother. Felix Hunter: This girl is being held by her mother and protected by her. Whipser Winslet: Protected is this part of the rumor. Felix Hunter: Yes and slowly I'm beginng to believe the rumors, Stella McAdams dated a man a very wealthy man who has a very strange belief, a belief in voodoo spme saw they've Heard scream at night at the old Seaside Sanatorium about thrity minutes from here. Whisdper Winslet: Voodoo, really? I thought you didn't believe in that bullshit Felix? Felix Hunter: I don't but have you seen this mornings newspaper, in the Connecticut Times? Whisper Winslet: Well no. Felix unfolds his arms and reaches underneath the glass counter in front of him he pulls out a copy of this mornings newspaper and sets it down on the galss counter in front of Whisper, Whisper Brings both her hands up to the counter and turns the newspaper around she begins reading the headline along with the Article. Whisper Winslet: The two men were found wuth there heads smashed like watermelon the make/model and license plate of the van that the bodies were found in are identical to the one tha kidnapped Kayla McAdams, Holy Shit! Felix Hunter: Holy shit indeed my dear girl, this is another reason i'm telling you to stay away from this. Whisper Winslet: Are you still Tight with Captain Zachary Welch? Felix Hunter: About an hour south from here is an old Hospital called Seaside Sanatorium there holding the fgirl there, I have a map of the place in the back room, Whisper walks to the door, flips the open sign to closed and locks the door. Whisper then walks back toward Felix she walks toward what looks like a solid wall. Whisper looks over at Felix, Felix reaches down with his right hand and presses the green button, as he does this we hear a click the wall cracks revealing a door. Whisper takes her left hand and opens the door. Felix Hunter: I hate Zombies. Whisper and Felix enter the secret room and felix shuts the door behind them just then lights come on we see extra guns, ninja throwing stars, grenades, Climbing gear, M16's Gernade launchers, Remote detnators, Flares and old maps. Felix walks over to the wall there are two maps beside each other, we see Felix bend down and grab one of the maps marked Seaside, there is a long wodden table in the room, Felix unfolds the map. Felix Hunter: That Private Investigator that's looking for Kayla McAdams does he know where she is? Whisper Winslet: Even after all those years you still got it, you already knew about him before I met him didn't you? Felix Hunter: Yes, he doesn't realized he's being used by the mother. Whisper and felix look at the layout of Seaview. Whisper Winslet: all of there area should be easy to access. Felix Hunter: The dead men in the van were armed my dear, mst likely The guards at the Sanatorium. Whisper Winslet: Well if there really is a zombie I'll be the least of there worries, besides they don't know I'm coming, besides look here. Whisper points her finger to the shower system. The blue print shows where the pipes come out, that's right here, Just right before the park, I'll enter there, I just need a few things from you're shop here, Like flars, A small hands torch, a harness and robe, thows throwing ninja stars, a dagger or knife and one of those sticky bombs. Whisper Winslet: Just have the boat near the shore sometime around 11:00pm Echo's in The Dark: It is Just 8:22pm we see the Icy cold atlantic on this minus twleve degree night we see two men completly dressed in black from head to toe, over there eyes are night vision goggle's, the two mwn are wearing all black clothing including there coats, we see gree as we are seeing through one of there night vision gogggle's we see some snow covering the sandy beach where the two men are patrolling one of the men notices foot prints in the snow the mans nam is Franklin Danvers. Franklin Danvers: What the hell, who would walk bare foot through the snow, Just then Franklin is grabbed, we hear the sound of his green Adaptive Combat Rifle goeas off, the man next to him Ward Jackson turns to see someone very tall has a hold of Franklin, Ward points his own Adaptive Combat Rifle at Franklin and fires the bullest's only hit Franklin We hear Fanklin's neck snap, whom ever this man or thing is he lift's Fanklin's lifeless body off of the ground and throws him at Ward, Ward doesn't get out of the way in time Franklin's body collades with Ward's body, Wadrd rolls in the snow covered sand moving Franklin's body off of him, after that he gets up off the ground and Points his gun at the figure that is walking away from him, Ward lowers his gun he then reaches for his walkie talkie with his left hand, he grabs the walkie talkie and then presses the black button. Wark Jackson: This is Ward you have incoming in from the southside first floor, person appears to have incredable strenth, watch your asses and open fire when you see him subjusct appeard to be atleast seven feet in length, Meanwhhile we see a woman dressed entirly in black from, she is running through a dryed up tunnel, she runs and runs, she then begins to slow down and them she stops just benath a metal grate, Whisper unzips her janny pack and pulls out a metal object but shisper stops and tosses the small torch aside, she zips back up her fanny pack, she stares at the metal grate, she extends her left hand and now touches the grate as she does this he moves an inch, the grate is loose Whisper takes both hands and mopves the grate to the right, with the grate moved aside we see Whisper's two black gloved hands as she puls her self up into what was once the shower room of the old seaside sanatorium, the room has no light in it, in fact the entire building as no light at all, bit Whisper is used to the dark, Suddenly Whisper hears the sound of Gun, the sound Echo's throughout the dark hallway's and corridor's of the old Saatorium, Whisper listens as the guns continue to go off, she listens has she peaks her head out and listen's once more, Bang ,Bang! Whisper comes out and moves toward the left she moves down the hallway touching the left side of the wall that is there suddenly she stops she see two Silhouette's of what look like men the man are tunred away from Whisper so she then continues to move along the wall Whisper moves quietly but nopw way from them Whisper listens for more sounds of gun fire, once again the echo of those sounds grow louder with each step Whisper talks the echo's of gun fire and screams gro louder, Whisper has never been scared of the dark but has she has found a set of stairs and asends up them the screams have began to out weigh the gunfire, men screaming and before those scream go silent and it is that silence that worries Whisper for it is The Silence of Death, now at the top of the staircase which has brough her to the past the second floor and to the third floor, Whisper comes out into the hallway, she hears people arguing, the first voice she hears is that of a little girl's voice. Kayla McAdams: I told you my father would come for me, Whisper hears the girl's voice she is close, Steve Greenwood who is on of the last five men between Kalya and the thing that is heading there way. Steve Greenwood: Shut up. Steve Greenwood, Justin Turnball, Mike Sisko, Dave Hayward and Bruce Young listen and the sreams echo closer and closer they turn toward the direction where those Echo's are coming from, Whisper sneaks past them while there backs are turn, Whisper who is now standing before Kayla McAdams, Whisper puts her left finger up to her mouth while she unzips her fanny pack Whisper reaches into her black fanny pack and grabs something she pulls out a small set of explosives with a timer, she places the bomb against the wall and then sets the explosive for thirty seconds. WHisper start the timer. Kayla Mcadams: But will never make it out in time. Whisper Winslet grabs Kays by the arm and the two move away from the bomb, as they get back toward the fall wall gunfire goes of the fire men fireing at whatever is coming there way. Dave Hayyward: It's not going down, he just keeps moving our way, despite all four men shoting at the same time the seven foot man with greyish flesh ton skin begins grabimg the men, first he grabs Justin Turnball and throws him over the other set of stairs, Justin hits the ground floor due to there being a hole in the second floor, Justin dies on impact, The tall grey skin man grabs Mike Sisko just had Dave hayward, Bruce Young and Steve Greenwood gun fire kille Mike Sisko, Just then the tall grey skin ton man picks up Mike's lifeless body with one hand and throws him and the four men in forn of him, knocking them down, the tall man who's skin left check is pealing and falling off, his teeth are a tinge green color, the tall man looks and sees two figure in the dark one is Kayla McAdams and the other is Whisper Winslet: who has pulled a grappiling hoor for her fanny pack, with her fanny pack now zipped shut the two lock eyes. Zombie: I want my Daughter/ Whisper can't believe her eyes an undead man or what some would call a zombie being controlled by a man who is in another country. Whisper Winslet: Your father doesn't used tribel cheif's or voodoo priest, he is a voodoo priest. Kayla Mcadams: Daddy; please, stop this, stop all this killing your hurt mommy. Zombie: That woman who raised you waasn't your real mother you see your mother's grand parents took you from me and hirted an actress who looked like your mother, they taught her how to present herself in public, I always kept a watchfull eye on you my girl even if it meant summoning the dead, so I say again I wany my Daughter Now! Whisper Winslet: Tell the Murderous Zombie bye. Whisper and Kalya waves with the bomb at zero. Bang!! a large part of the wall and ceiling collapse, burying the Zombie. Whisper bends down and picks up Kayla, she goes over toward where the wall was with one hand she attaches the grappiling hook to the floor, Whisper and who has Kayla on her back. Whisper Winslet: Hold on kid and don't let go until I tell you. The two begin to climb down though it is Whisper doing the climbing, the two reach the ground the remaing men who are now standing up watching the girls get away. they aim there guns, but we see Felix Hunter who has a sniper rifle with a night vision scope aiming at Steve Greenwood's head. Bang, Then Bruce Young Bang!, then had Felix aims for the next man the Zombie bust through the solid concrete grabing the two men by the throat. Felix sess this. Felix Hunter: My God! With the boast close enough to shoreand whispoer carrying the girl the two make it aboard. Whisper, Felix and Kayla watch has the zombie kills the other two men. Zombie: I will have her back! The Zombie's words Echo, they Echo in the darkness as the boat gets further away. Whisper Winslet: I'm taking the girl Felix Hunter: You'll miss one hell of a score in France. Whisper Winslet: I'll taje a plane to wherever your friend is, you said Texas Rihgt? Felix hunter Yes. Whisper Winslet: Texas it is then. the end writing by Jule Saynes
