it's a Windy Halloween Night we see inside a two storied home, inside the house there is a light reflecting off the wooden paneled floor in the middle of that floor a grey carpet rug is on the floor on that rug is an oval shaped wooden table we see a two bare feet, there are navy blue dress pants coming down just above the this persons ankles, we pan-up to see a middle age man wearing a longsleeve navy blue t-shirt, the man is sittingg on a Torquise color couch, the man is reading a couple of The morning paper, he his reading the sports section, Just then we see a middle age woman with platinum blone hair, the woman is wearing a blue night gown with shoulder straps the woman is sits down beside the man reading the newspaper, Lana McKenzie: Howard Are you coming to bed sometime this century. Howard Mckenzie: The Bears are 0-5 the month can you believe that? Lana takes the newspaper from her husbands hands and begins folding in half. Howard smiles at his wife. Howard Mckenzie: You know your still as pretty as the day we first met? Lana Smiles and lays her head on her Husbands right shoulder Lana Mckenzie: It's Ten minutes till midnight my dear I don't think were getting any more trick or treaters. Howard McKenzie: Your probably right guess I better turn off the front porch light. Lana moves her head off her of Howards shoulder, Howard gets up off the couch he hets to the front door and as he reaches with his left hand for the front porch light he stops it and then presses his ear against the front door. Howard grabs he door knob and turns it he then opens his front door and he sees two small children running toward him he bends down to one knee as the and opens his arms, for he recognizes the young boy and young girl running toward him, The children crash into his arms crying and screaming. Howard McKenzie pulls back touching both children on Lidnsey on her right shoulder and Tommy on his left. Howard McKenzie: Tommy Doyle and Lindsey Wallace What are you two doing out this late? Nit before they can answer him, a loud bang is heard, this causes Howard to look down the street and then shortly after that five more shots are heard. Howard McKenzie: Gunshots! Howard a Vetern of the second World War was all to familiar with the sound of guns. Howard McKenzie stands up and brings the children into he and his wife's home he shuts ther front door. Howard McKenzie: locks his front door He walks over to his couch and lifts the telephone of the receiver, he takes his fingeer and touches the Roary he begins dialing the operator which is 555-1212, Howard turns the rotary dial, he turns the number five three times, then ht turns the number 1 oncem then the number two, then one again and finally two, the Telephone begins to ring, we see a woman who looks to be in her thirty's sitting at a switch board her hair was coal black her eyes brown she wore a brown plaid skirt with a brown sweater, her phone rang once to most people who rached her operator station she was operater 13, but her name Jill Davis answers the second ring Jill Davis: Operator thirteen speaking how may I direct your call. Howard McKenzie: Yes Operator couold you please connect me weith the haddonfield police department? Jill Davis knew every extension, she has been an Operator for the past eight years. Jill Davis/Operator Thirteen: Connecting you extension 312. Jill Davis connects the call, We now see a man who looks to be in his mid sixties, he has red hair his eyes are ocean blue, he is wearing a police officer's uniform he Desk sergent Humphrey Fonda, Humphrey's telephne begins to ring, he answers it by the second ring. Sergent Humphery Fonda: Haddonfield Police department this is Desk Sergant Humphery speaking, what's the nature of your call? Just then the Howard speaks. Howard McKenzie: Humphery your on duty tonight thank god! Sergent Humphery Fonda reconized the voice on the other end he knew it wae Howard McKenzie, Humphery picked up his pencil with his right hand he opened his note pad. Sergent Humphery Fonda: Howard McKenzie what's going on tonight Howard. Howard McKenzie: Shots fired I repeat shots fired down on 617 Orange Grove Avenue. Sergent Humphery rights the information down he begins to ask question. Sergent Humphery Fonda: Do you know who fired the gunshots and why they fired them? Howard McKenzie covers his Telephone reciver, Howard McKenzie: Kids why were those shots fired? Howard only asking one of the question, for Howard felt the kids couldn't have known who fired the gun for neither did he and they both heard them at the same time. Dr. Sam Loomis: Michael you bastard. Dr. Loomis opens his revolver and then proceeds the reload his gun as he does we see flashing red and blue lights, we see a police car pull up to the back of the house on the side of the car its says the word Sheriff, we see Sheriff Leigh Brackett getting out of his squid car he slams the car door shut and walks runs toward Dr, Loomis. Sheriff Leigh Brackett: Loomis! what the hell? Dr. Sam Loomis: It Bleeds Sheriff, it Bleeds, Dr. Loomis pointing to the blood on the dirt covered ground.. Sheriff brackett runs down the hallway and then enters the bedroom to see Laurie Storde sitting on the floor crying, Sheriff Brackett bends down and touches Laurie's hand, he sees the blood on her shoulder. Sheriff Brackett stands up and runs out of the room, back down the hall and then the stairs he comes outside and stops staring at one thing the Wallace house where he knows his daughter was babysitting a young girl named Lidnsey. Sheriff Brackett goes to go back around the back of the Doyle home he is stopped by Angela Wayne: Sheriff! Sheriff Brackett stops just inches from Angela. Sheriff Leigh Brackett: What is it now? Angela Wayne: Dr. Loomis took off on foot he and Quentin are following the blood trail. Sheriff Leigh Brackett: Son of a Bitch, alright get on the raido and tell them to send some ambulances down here, I'm going to check the wallace house. Meanwhile down the stret past Orange grove avenue, is is Hawks Street, we several more houses, we see a young girl with short dark hair, she had dark eyes, she is wearing a pair of pinkflared pants, she is also wearing a longsleeve black tunic shirt, she is reading a copy of Seventeen magizine with Broke Sheilds on the cover, the young lady's name is seeventeen year old Katie Turner, Katie was not olone in the home she was in for sdhe too was baby sitting a young boy named Clark Jefferson, Clark was fast asleep or so she thoguh, Just ehn s small hand touched Katie on her right shoulder, Katie jumpes almost out of her seat. Katie closes Clark's bedroom door and heads down stairs, now at the bootom of the stairs she stops and stares toward the kitchen she doesn't know why but she turns toward the left and walks toward it almost as if she has no will of her own she enters the kitchen and the only light shinning in the ktchen is through a small window,But Katie doesn't seen anything unusal although she also doesn't know that standing now behind her and to her right is Michael Myers, he is holding a butcher knife which he got from the kitchen drawer , Michael stares at her as she walks toward the back door wehich is shut, Katie then locks the door, She turns araound after looking the back door, no one is there not that she knew someone was there to beign with, Katie walks back toward the living room But before she can make the corner Katie ears a door open upstairs, she looks up and sees nothing, Katie Turner: Ok Clark now what? Katie walks backk up the stairs, she now stands at the top of the stairs, she walks back toward Clar's room she is met by a left hand that grabs her by thr throat and lifts her off the groun and begins walking with her feet well off the ground, Clark who opens his door and comes out of his bedroom sees this. At first he is afriad tears well-up in Clarks eyes but he charges Michael form behind as Michael has Katie against a solid wall Clark balls his hands into fist hitting Michael on the side. Clark Jefferson: You let he go, oyu mean man, I said Let her go! Michael raises his right hand bringing the Butcher Knife in Katie's sight before she can be stabed Katie gets out one final word for Clark. Katie truggling to speak. Katie Tunrer: Run, in a quieter tone then she would have liked, so Clark does indeed run he gets to the front door and opens it he turns to watch Katie by stabbed in the chest. Clark with tears in his eyes. Clark Jefferson: Katie! ,Michael tilts his head staring at Katie's lifeless body almost like a normal person would stare at there own artwork, Michael straightens his head and removes the butcher Knife he turns to see the young boy is gone and the front door is wide open. Meanwhile we see Sheriff Leigh Brackett is now upstairs in the Wallace house he sees his Daughter laying there her arms streched out and just above her head is the Grave Headstone of Judith Myers, Bracketts walks toward the bed in disbelief, he goes to reach for Annie's lifeless body but stops himself, his hands shack has he walks backwars with his back pressed again the bedroom doorway Sheriff Brackett begins to cry. Sheriff Leigh Brackett: I'm going to get you Myers, you son of a Bitch! Now see Police Sirens blaring red and blue lights going we also see a Ambulance arriving at The Doyle House,with the cloak now at Midnight chimming in the Wallace house Halloween maybe over the terror and fear Michael has created is only beginning.
